Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Barking Down the Aisle! By booking our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions, which help ensure a smooth, safe, and joyful experience for both you and your dog.

1. Booking & Payment

  • A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your wedding date. This will be applied to your final balance.

  • Full payment is due 14 days prior to the wedding date.

  • Bookings made less than 14 days before the event must be paid in full at the time of booking.

  • Payments can be made via e-transfer, credit card, cash, or other approved methods.

2. Cancellations & Refunds

  • Deposits are non-refundable.

  • If cancellation occurs within 14 days of your event, no refund will be issued.

  • In the unlikely event that Barking Down the Aisle must cancel, a full refund will be provided.

3. Service Agreement

  • A service agreement must be signed to confirm booking details, responsibilities, and your dog's care plan.

  • This agreement outlines all services, travel needs, and expectations for both parties.

4. Dog Eligibility & Safety

  • All dogs must be up-to-date on vaccinations and in good health.

  • We do not accept red-zone or severely aggressive dogs for wedding day services.

  • You must disclose any history of biting, aggression, or reactivity in advance.

  • We reserve the right to modify or cancel services if your dog displays unsafe behavior.

5. Liability

  • While we take every precaution to care for your dog safely, you acknowledge that we are not liable for:

    • Injury to your pet due to pre-existing conditions, behavioral issues, or accidents beyond our control

    • Any injury or property damage caused by your dog

  • Barking Down the Aisle is fully insured for professional pet care services.

6. Transportation

  • Transportation is included within 50 km round-trip of Fredericton. Additional travel will incur a fee of $0.75 per km. If outside of 2.5 hours of Fredericton, couple will cover $0.75 per KM mileage, plus all travel fees (meals, 1 night hotel, applicable travel fees, etc.).

  • Dogs must be harnessed or crated during transport, in compliance with our safety protocols.

7. Add-On Services

  • Additional services (overnight care, extended stays, next-day walks) must be confirmed in advance.

  • Fees for these services will be clearly stated in your final invoice.

8. Photos & Marketing

  • We may take photos of your pup during the day for social media and promotional purposes.

  • If you prefer we don’t use images of your dog, just let us know in writing.

9. Force Majeure

We are not liable for any delay or failure to perform our services due to events beyond our control, such as severe weather, illness, or transportation disruptions.

10. Respect & Inclusion

We are proud to serve all couples, regardless of race, gender identity, or sexual orientation. Hate of any kind is not welcome here.
