Refund Policy

 

Effective Date: May 14, 2025

At Barking Down the Aisle, we understand how important your wedding day is and the care it takes to plan it perfectly—including your pup’s role! Because of the time and preparation that goes into each booking, our refund policy is as follows:

Deposits

  • All deposits are non-refundable.

  • A 25% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your date. 

  • Payment instructions will be provided after your booking form is submitted.

  • Your deposit secures your wedding date and covers planning, consultations, and booking logistics.

Full Payments

  • Full payment is due 14 days prior to the event.

  • If you cancel 14 days or more before the scheduled event, any payment made (excluding the deposit) will be refunded in full.

  • If you cancel less than 14 days before the event, no refund will be issued.

  • A receipt will be provided once full payment is received.

  • We accept e-transfer, cash, and other payment methods by request.

Add-On Services

  • Fees for additional services (e.g., extended care, overnight stays) are refundable only if cancelled more than 7 days in advance.

  • Within 7 days of the event, these fees are non-refundable.

Force Majeure

If we are unable to provide services due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g., natural disasters, illness, severe weather), we will:

  • Work with you to reschedule at no extra cost, or

  • Issue a full refund if rescheduling is not possible.

Client No-Shows or Late Notice Cancellations

  • Failure to notify us of cancellation or major changes within 48 hours of your event will be considered a no-show, and no refund will be issued.

  • Cancellations due to emergencies or extreme weather will be handled on a case-by-case basis.

  • Rescheduling is subject to availability and must be requested in writing.

Vendor Cancellation

In the rare event that Barking Down the Aisle must cancel your service (e.g., due to emergency or illness), a full refund will be issued, including your deposit.
